AISS hosted Afghan Civil Society Representatives

Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies held a 3-day conference in cooperation with National Endowment for Democracy (NED) from 4-6 May 2015 at the AISS office in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The conference was aimed at identifying the challenges faced by the Afghan civil society organizations in the coming decade of development and explore solutions to strengthen civil society. The Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies (AISS) hosted a number of the ambassadors of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Afghanistan. Prominent Afghan Poet and author joins AISS

The Afghan Institute for Strategic Studies is honored and welcomes Mr. Reza Mohammadi as “Research “ to AISS team
He will be in charge of AISS’ research project on “Herat School of Security”. The project aims to explore the conceptions of security in Sufi-Persian sources and how & if the contemporary discourses on security can benefit from Persian/Sufi perspectives.
